Family Foundations a Smile From Lacey

To give back to our community the Lacey Laskowski family foundations and friends are organizing a weekend event. The weekend will have tournaments, entertainment, food, scavenger hunt and a ½ marathon run.

Saturday, September 11th 2010 there will be a golf tournament, held at Ridges, TriCity and Homestead golf courses, A downtown pool tournament, fishery tournament, quilting/craft show and a children’s run. Food sellers will be set up along Veterans park downtown while entertainment will be provided throughout the day and night. Sunday, September 12th there will be a ½ marathon and 5K run starting at 9:00 am at Assumption High School, running through town to Nekoosa and ending Downtown Wisconsin Rapids at Veterans Park. Any proceeds made throughout this weekend will be donated to a family foundations or families that are going through major medical issues that have some extended hospital stays and need some help with day-to-day expenses.

Memorial donations will also be considered and a complete list can be had by using our contact form.
