Family Foundations A Smile From Lacey

The 2012 Third Annual 'Smile from Lacey' weekend event will take place September 7th, 8th, and 9th in Wisconsin Rapids. The committee would like to thank all participants from the last two years, with your help we have raised over $20,000. The money was donated to the Community Foundation and given out in the 'Smile from Lacey' grant fund to three different families this past year, all these families have a child fighting cancer.

 We are working hard to make this year's events even better. The scavenger hunt will take place Saturday, September 8th in the downtown Wisconsin Rapids area. It's sure to be a challenging and fun adventure. Check out our events pages to find registration forms and details on all our events including, Golf, Billiards, Kids Fun Run, 5K and Half Marathon. If you are not interested in participating in our events you can still support our wonderful cause, stop by Veterans Memorial Park on Saturday September 8th for the Street Dance, kids' games, activities and FIREWORKS!

Thank you for your interest in this event. We hope to see you in September! The committee is honored to be hosting this event in the memory of Lacey Laskowski who passed away from Leukemia in 2010. She had a beautiful smile and was full of energy and spirit. We are hoping to bring a smile to your face on this weekend in her memory. Pool: Lacey’s River Cities Tournament of Champions
Qualifing tournaments at various bars
Between August 12th and September 5th 2012
Winners of each tournament will compete in the tournament of
Champions, downtown September 8th, 2012 on the street pool tables.

Pool: Lacey’s River Cities 8-ball Challenge
Saturday September 8th 2012 11:30am start
Tournaments held in downtown bars in various men’s and women’s divisions. Players who qualified for the Tournament of Champions may also play in the 8-ball Challenge.
Divisions range from Masters to B player brackets

Street Dance: FREE entertainment on Saturday, September 8th, 2012 at Veterans Park located in Downtown Wisconsin Rapids. Fun includes children’s games, local performance groups, food vendors and local bands continuing into the night

Fireworks: Saturday September 8th, 2012

5K walk run: Sunday, September 9th 2012. 9:00 start at Assumption High School

½ Marathon: Sunday, September 9th 2012. 9:00 start at Assumption High School
